What does the Children’s Bible Class  do?

We study the same Scriptures that Simply the WORD does but at a preschool developmental level.  We participate in crafts, songs, and activities to bring the Word alive.

What do you teach them?

The scriptures and how they can live out the Word in their young lives.

What books are used in the Children’s Bible Class? 

The teachers use a variety of books to  bring the scriptures to life at the children's developmental level.  The children do not have textbooks. A family sheet is sent home weekly with the readings and activities the children participated in.  This provides an opportunity for the family to share in the child's activities.

Is Catholic Doctrine / Tradition incorporated  into your teaching?

Yes, Our scripture study is Catholic based just as the adult Simply the WORD. We also practice traditional Catholic prayers with the preschoolers.

Can my grandchild attend while I am at Simply the WORD?

Definitely!

Can I  register my child for the Children’s Bible Class and not attend Simply the WORD  programs?

No.  You or a grandparent must be registered and and attending one of Firstfuits Apostolate's programs; Simply the WORD, Ponder This, or  M.O.M.S.

I am a registered member of Simply the WORD. I am baby-sitting for a friend, can I bring that child?

The child needs to be pre-registered for the Children's Bible Class or Baby Bible Playroom, we also need to have copies of emergency waiver signed by the child's parent and an allergy waiver signed by the child's parent.

Does my child need to be potty trained?

Yes, children must be potty trained for the Children's Bible Class.  Children in the Baby Bible Playroom are not expected to be potty trained.

My child is almost 2, can she attend the program?

No, but she can be in our Baby Bible Playroom.

Is there another Children’s Bible Class  planned for Spring?

Yes, Children's Bible Class schedule matches Simply the WORD's schedule.

Is there a cost for the Children’s Bible Class?

There is a $5.00 per family/per week fee for our childrens' programs (Children's Bible Class and the Baby Bible Playroom).
