Thursdays, March 4, 11, 18 and 25
Register for Morning or Evening Session.
How will you use this Lent to prepare yourself for Easter?
What does Jesus’ Passion mean to you?
When did you last walk with Jesus through His Passion?
Simply the WORD invites you to participate in a 4-session Bible study of Jesus’ Passion, Death, and Resurrection, Thursdays, March 4, 11, 18 and 25. On each of the four Thursdays of March, we will be reading and discussing the Passion narrative from St. Luke’s Gospel.
This Passion study follows a similar format as Simply the WORD, a Catholic Scripture. Participants will pre-register to prepare assigned study questions before each meeting, take part in small group discussion, and listen to a reflection/lecture about the selected Bible passages. The lecture presenters for our Passion study are Fr. George Gajdos, Fr. Tom DeVries and Fr. Tom Manahan S.J.
Simply the WORD's, Passion Study sessions are held Thursday morning 9:00-11:00 and Thursday evening 6:30-8:30 at Christ King Parish (please register for either the morning or the evening session). A free-will offering would be greatly appreciated to cover the materials cost. If you plan on joining us for the Passion study, you must pre-register by February 28, to pick up and prepare the first lesson.
