"Luke: Our Call to Discipleship"

Are you hearing Jesus' call to live as His disciple?

  At Baptism, Jesus invited and equipped each of us to become His disciple.  Throughout the Gospels- especially the Gospel according to St. Luke-Jesus shows us what He asks and expects of His disciples. 

•  weekly Catholic Scripture Study Program.

•  help you apply Sacred Scripture to your daily life.

•  aims to "break open" the Word for everyone to reveal our Living God.   

•  look at some of the familiar stories and passages from the Bible. 

•  explore ways through which each of us might better understand how God is Speaking to us in Scripture.

Our upcoming study, hosted at Christ King Parish,  is "Luke: Our Call to Discipleship" a nine week, guided scripture study program with commentary and discussion questions.  "Our Call to Discipleship" is our Catholic Bible study of Luke's Gospel.  This session is from Sept 25 to Dec 4, 2008.  Check upcoming events, above for details.

Thursday Morning Session 9:10 to 11:00 a.m. (Children's Program drop off at 9:00 a.m.)

Thursday Evening Session 6:30 to 8:15 p.m. (No Children's Program offered in evening)

What to Bring: A Catholic Bible (i.e. The New American Bible)

No Cost: Voluntary freewill offering
